Bob Malone of Yamaha has designed a new Flugelhorn. I’ve been playing the prototype for about 6 months now and I gotta say, “It’s the best Flugel I’ve ever played.” A release date hasn’t been set yet.

The Yamaha 8335LA custom trumpet designed by Bob Malone and myself is still getting incredible reviews by top players worldwide. I'm proud to be associated with a company like Yamaha that pays so much attention to detail and quality control. Every 8335LA I've tested right out of the case has been consistent with the original prototype. BRAVO YAMAHA!
